March 31^st, 2010, Shanghai Clinical Research Center (SCRC) announced strategic partnership with Shanghai the Eighth People´s Hospital in the unveiling ceremony of the "Clinical Research Service Site", which is jointly established by the two parties, in Shanghai the Eighth People´ss Hospital. Mr. Bao Bingzhang, deputy mayor of Xuhui District, Mr. Liu Shiqiang, the director of Health Bureau of Xuhui District, Dr. Gan Rongxing, Presdident of SCRC, Zhou Jianyuan, Head of Shanghai the Eighth People´ss Hospital, a representative from Shanghai Municipal Health Bureau and the management team of the two parties attended the ceremony.

 

 

With the establishment of the site, SCRC and Shanghai the Eighth People´ss Hospital will have further cooperation in the areas such as clinical research and product transfer, training, public health service, making full advantage of SCRC and the hospital in clinical research and public health service.

 

Mr Bao Bingzhang, the deputy mayor of Xuhui District, stated in the ceremony," The partnership of the two parties is of significance in setting up a new regional cooperation framework of clinical research and public health service. I hope that the all round cooperation of the two parties based on mutual benefits, mutual trust and common development will further promote the development of the health care industry of the Xuhui District."

 

 

With rich resources of technology, equipment, information, market, talent, and health care available, the two parties will further explore the cooperation opportunities in infection diseases, rectum cancer and other acute and chronic diseases in the next step.
