Overview
SCRC provides tissue, blood and urine sample collection, storage and analytical services in accordance with the ICH-GCP and ethics guidelines. These specimens will form a foundation of a bio-bank with an ultimate goal of facilitating translational medicine research and leverage the research power by bridging clinical practices and basic research.

Services
The construction of the bio-bank is supported by Shanghai Government. SCRC has already cooperated with 15 leading hospitals, universities and research institutes in Shanghai, and will be the third party to provide a total solution in bio-bank construction, including:
1. establish technical specifications and SOP with international standards
2. bio-bank information management
3. a QC/QA system
4. long-term training
5. improve storage and usage clinical research samples and facilitate translational medicine research.
