Shanghai Fenglin Clinical Laboratory Co., Ltd (Fenglin Clinical Lab),as a subsidiary of Shanghai Clinical Research Center(SCRC), and Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics held a grand unveiling ceremony for the Regional Reference Lab on the morning of Dec,10th. In attendance were Mr. Bao Bingzhang, deputy mayor of Xuhui District, Mr. Yue Chen, director of Shanghai Centre for Clinical Laboratory, Dr. Renqian Zhong, director of Shanghai Laboratory Medicine Institute, Dr. Rongxing Gan, Presdident of SCRC and Board Chairman of Shanghai Fenglin Clinical Laboratory Co.,Ltd and Dr. James Ho, CEO of Shanghai Fenglin Clinical Laboratory Co.,Ltd.

 

"It was a good beginning for both of us. The cooperation will help the lab further improve its overall operation quality and be geared to international standards. We would like to take this opportunity to make new friends and seek for new collaboration", said Mr. Bingzhang Bao.

 

Dr. James Ho delivered his welcome speech and said that the lab was operated in line with international practice including CAP and ISO15189 from the very beginning and we will further introduce GLP standard into the lab soon, thus offering better service to all of our clients. As a new company, we can learn a lot from Siemens, an international company with a history of more than one hundred year, through the cooperation. Meanwhile, our reference lab could help Siemens gain a better understanding of China market and demonstrate Siemens technology so that finally could serve our clients together.

 

Mr. Yue Chen and Dr. Renqian Zhong believed that there was a bright future ahead as Fenglin Clinical Lab had set the high standards from the beginning. They both hope that Fenglin Clinical Lab will promote the regional testing level through quality control and scientific management.
