On the morning of April 15^th 2015, Wang Hongzhou, Vice Mayor of Xuhui District, and Tang Hong, Vice Director of Science and Technology Committee of Xuhui District, visited the Central Laboratory in its new location, and also attended the opening ceremony to celebrate its completion under the cooperation between PPD and SCRC.

        Accompanied by SCRC Director Gan Rongxing and Vice Director Xu Juncai, Vice District Mayor Wang Hongzhou visited the Central Laboratory, informed of the latest development of its building and its future development. Then Mr. Wang addressed the opening ceremony of PPD Shanghai Central Laboratory, expressing his warm congratulation to the opening as well as the cooperation between PPD and SCRC. Meanwhile, he claimed that during the transition from traditional biomedicine to the industry of life and health in Xuhui District, internationally reputed enterprises like PPD were warmly welcome to enter the district and participate in the development of life and health industry. Moreover, it’s hoped that SCRC would continue to play a key role leading the industry and promoting industrial clustering in Xuhui District. In addition, Mr. Wang pointed out that Xuhui District would provide better environment and quality services for developing life and health industry, and make joint efforts with the well-known enterprises in the very field to create an urban area for industry cluster.
