Yin Yicui, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Shanghai Committee, Visited SCRC

        Yin Yicui, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Shanghai Committee, led a group to visit Shanghai Clinical Research Center (SCRC) on the morning of March 12. This visit was aimed to get deeper insights of the healthcare industry in Xuhui District, as the group was currently conducting a survey on the layout of healthcare industry of Shanghai.

        Chaired by the Secretary Yin, a meeting was hold to discuss the healthcare industry in Xuhui District. In attendance were Mr. Mao Minggui, the Secretary of the CPC Xuhui Committee and Mr. Chen Yin, the mayor of Xuhui District and other officials from Xuhui District, as well as the Director of the SCRC, Dr. Gan Rongxing. Dr. Gan made a presentation on the development and planning of the newly founded SCRC. Officials from Xuhui District offered their insights on the development and prospects of the healthcare industry in this area as well.

        "Xuhui District should give full play to its advantages in the area of life science research and clinical applications, and make its healthcare industry "distinctive and competitive"," said Secretary Yin. She concluded the meeting with the hope that Shanghai Clinical Research Center would achieve its goal of being the national clinical research center by providing full-services with international standards, and would accelerate the formation of the high-end service industry centered on clinical research, thus promoting the development of the whole healthcare industry in Shanghai.
