Central Lab sucessfully certified by NGSP

SCRC Central Laboratory (Shanghai Fenglin Clinical Laboratory Co. Ltd) has successfully completed the NGSP Level I Laboratory certification and obtained the certificate on June 19th, 2012. SCRC Central Laboratory is now traceable to the Diabetes Control and Complications Trial Reference method through the certification.

Meanwhile, the Central Laboratory is also preparing for College of American Pathologists (CAP) and ISO15189 accreditation. SCRC Central Lab will constantly strive for improvement and excellence to better serve the customers with extensive and professional testing services.

About NGSP:

The purpose of the NGSP is to standardize Hemoglobin A1c test results to those of the Diabetes Control and Complications Trial (DCCT) and United Kingdom Prospective Diabetes Study (UKPDS) which established the direct relationship between HbA1c levels and outcome risks in patients with diabetes.
