Rongxing Gan, Professor MBA President & CEO, Shanghai Clinical Research Center

Dr. Rongxing Gan, Director of Shanghai Clinical Research Center (SCRC), has 20 years’ experience in research and development in biotechnology and pharmaceuticals, technology transfer, business development and venture capital. He has been the vice president of the leading research institution of life sciences, Shanghai Institutes for Biological Sciences (SIBS), Chinese Academy of Sciences, for 8 years. Dr. Gan has also been a professor in SIBS and a chairman and/or a CEO of a number of SIBS portfolio companies. Dr. Gan obtained his M.D. degree from Shanghai Second Medical University in 1991. He was a visiting scientist at Max-Planck Institute for Developmental Biology and Max-Planck Institute for Biochemistry from 1994 to 1995. Dr. Gan received Executive MBA education jointly by School of Business, University of Wisconsin-Madison and Graduate College of Chinese Academy of Sciences.
