"Shanghai Clinical Research Center - Oracle Cooperation Signing Ceremony" was successfully held on Jan. 13, 2010. In attendance were Dr. Rongxing Gan, President of SCRC, Prof. Pihuan Jin, Senior Advisor of SCRC, Mr. Neil de Crescenzo, Senior Vice President &General Manager of Oracle HSGBU. Dr. Juncai Xu, the Vice President of SCRC, hosted the ceremony.

 

"SCRC aims to develop a full-service platform for clinical development that will power our growth and China´s drug development capabilities. Oracle Clinical is our strategic technology platform in this journey," said Dr. Gan.

 

 

Mr. Neil de Crescenzo was confident that Oracle Clinical can help SCRC create solutions for their specific data management and business goals, with broad coverage and deep functionality in clinical data management.

 

Prof. Jin made a speech during the ceremony, and he point out that quality and reliable data are essential to the success for new drug development. A sophisticated clinical research data management system will help improve the overall capability, efficiency, and innovation within drug development.

 

Dr. Gan extended sincere gratitude to all the attendees and concluded the ceremony with the hope that the cooperation with Oracle would help to establish a first-class clinical research data management system, thus promoting the development of clinical research in China.
