March, 25^th, Liu Dengfeng, the deputy director of the Department of Medical Science, Technology and Education, Ministry of Health the People's Republic of China, and his team along with representative from Shanghai Municipal Public Health Bureau visited SCRC, and discussed with experts of SCRC on the issue of clinical trial registration and other related topics. The director of IEC, Professor Hu Qingli, Director of SCRC, Dr. Rongxing Gan, and vice Diretor Jiong Zhang and Jack Xu attended the meeting.

 

Professor Hu made a presentation on the development trends of the bioethics as well as the importance of clinical research registration, followed by the introduction of SCRC by Dr Gan. The deputy director, Mr Liu, said that he really appreciated all the efforts SCRC has made to promote the development of clinical research level in China, and would like to have further discussion on clinical trial registration and hear more suggestions from experts and professionals of SCRC.
